
Damage Policy
At The Lovely Roots, we take great care in shipping healthy and vibrant plants to our valued customers. However, we understand that occasionally, despite our best efforts, plants may experience shipping damage. To address such situations, we have established the following damage policy:
Notification and Timeframe:
Customers must reach out to us via email at thelovelyrootsllc@gmail.com within 24 hours of their plant's delivery or arrival. The email should include clear pictures and videos that provide evidence of shipping damage. This helps us assess the issue promptly.
Alterations to the Plant:
Customers must refrain from cutting or altering the plant in any way. If a customer has made any modifications to the plant, they forfeit their right to a refund or replacement.
Return of the Damaged Plant:
To be eligible for a refund or replacement, customers must return the damaged plant to The Lovely Roots. The orders original shipping fee will be refunded to help pay for the damaged plants return.
Availability of Replacements:
The availability of replacement plants will depend on our current stock. If we have the same or similar plant in stock, we will offer a replacement. However, please note that our inventory is subject to change, and replacements are not guaranteed.
Types of Damage Not Eligible for Refund/Replacement:
The following types of damage are not eligible for a refund or replacement:
Some Leaf Yellowing: Minor yellowing of leaves due to transit or transplant shock is a natural occurrence and is not considered eligible for a refund or replacement.
Minor Folds in Leaves: Small creases or folds in the leaves are common during shipping and do not qualify for a refund or replacement.
Light Bending on Stems: Slight bending of stems may occur during shipping and is not eligible for a refund or replacement.
Small Loss in Foliage: If the plant has experienced a minor loss of foliage that is proportionate to its size, it does not qualify for a refund or replacement.
Partial Refund Option:
Customers who choose to keep the damaged plant may be eligible for a 50% partial refund. This option allows customers to decide whether they want to keep and attempt to rehabilitate the plant.
Customers are welcome to reach out to us at any time for advice on rehabilitating a damaged plant. We are here to provide guidance and support to help your plant thrive.

The Lovely Roots reserves the right to update or modify this damage policy at any time without prior notice. Customers are encouraged to review the policy periodically for any changes.
